Transcript: Jesus is King but not like you think the lordship of Jesus is at the same time different and greater than that of Caesar or whatever ruling people there are in your life because God wants to be king of your heart king of your inner self of the very life you live where there’s no limits to the things that belong to him in your life this is the kingship that he asks I was thinking the other day we were worshiping I was thinking about how in worship there’s such a joy in the idea of giving of yourself to the Lord like I just worship you God you’re wonderful I just give myself for your glory Lord Your Glory Your Glory it’s just all about you there’s such a joy in that in this self-giving thing it’s beautiful it’s wonderful and that’s modeled through Christ but that’s also like what the kingdom is about is he gave himself for us that we might give ourselves for him that he’s our King in that sense and it’s beautiful
